At Belle Époque Paris, we make every effort to give our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. We hope that our policies do just that and make sure that everybody understands how we do business. Read about them below, and be sure to contact our team with any questions.
Shipping & Delivery
How It Works
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are out of stock on a particular product, we will contact you and ask if you would like to make another choice.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your orders are calculated and displayed at checkout. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping (if any) will be deducted from your refund.
We are shipping to Cyprus via ACS Courier, to Europe and international addresses via EMS Datapost, which can take from 2 to 5 days from the time your order is shipped. If you would like to check with us for shipping to a specific country, please inquire via email prior to placing an order.
Returns & Refunds
A Few Short Steps
We want you to be pleased with the products and service you receive so you can shop in confidence knowing your product is fresh, handmade and has never been used by another customer. For this reason and due to the personal nature of our products, we cannot accept returns; however we do offer refunds if you are not satisfied with the product. If you received the wrong order send us an email immediately and do not open the package. Once you open the product, we cannot accept it for return or refund.
Damaged Items
If your product arrives damaged, please notify us by email at info(at)BelleEpoqueParis(dot).art within 72 hours (3 days) of receipt of the damaged product. When we receive your notification, we will either replace the damaged product or refund the amount of the purchase. Such refund will be provided as a credit to the credit card or Paypal account used at the time of purchase.
Computer & Operator Error
We reserve the right to cancel any order that was a result of a mistake in our system. For example, if we price our soap for €0.09 instead of €9.00 and you buy a hundred bars at €0.09 then we have the right to cancel your order due to a computer error or operator error.

About Our Policy
Warranty Notice
All Belle Époque Paris handmade products come with a satisfaction warranty. If the product you purchased does not satisfy you, we will replace it for you. International customers will receive a refund instead of a product replacement if they are not satisfied.
Allergies
It is the responsibility of the user of our soaps to make sure they are not allergic to our products. Everyone’s skin is different and you must test soaps as you would anything else. If you are known to have sensitive skin, please test the soap on a small part of your arm for a few days prior to using it all over.
Candle Burning Safety Notice
A study by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission suggests that 85% of candle fires could be avoided if consumers followed three basic safety rules:
1) Never leave a burning candle unattended.
2) Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire.
3) Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
4) Never use water to extinguish a candle.
Always make sure to keep your candle wick trimmed to 1/4" before lighting. If a candle wick is too long, the wax isn't able to reach the top causing the candle to smoke. Keep your candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time. Stop use when less than 1cm of wax remains. If you notice a candle that has a flame height above 1.5 inches and/or is releasing excessive smoke, make sure to blow the candle out immediately, allow the candle to fully cool and trim the wick down which should lower the flame and stop the smoke. If trimming the wick does not help to lower the flame or stop excessive smoking, please cease using the candle further, safely dispose of it once it has fully cooled and contact us for a replacement.
